The annual Beaulieu show gives both trade and public visitors the opportunity to see the latest and best that the major manufacturers within the industry have to offer and to examine the designs and luxurious accommodation available for the new season.The show is held on the Beaulieu Estate in Hampshire where they are joined by others for the Southern Caravan Trade Show on September 26th and the public show on the three following days. This the largest show of its type in southern England and provides a great opportunity for manufacturers and parks to showcase their latest products to the many thousands of visitors.
The shows are run by HERCMA (the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire Caravan Manufacturers’ Association).

As summer draws to a close, the Holiday Park industry enters its busy show season with a series of exhibitions and trade seminars. Shows cover all aspects of park life from accommodation to outdoor essentials and from hot tubs and swimming pools to catering equipment. With so many dates to pencil into your diaries we bring you a shortlist of the biggest industry shows coming up this autumn and what you can expect from each one…

September sees the 42nd annual HERCMA (the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire Caravan Manufacturers’ Association) Caravan Trade Show in Cottingham, near Hull. Major manufacturers will be unveiling their 2018 models to park owners, dealers and distributors from across the UK and to international visitors from other countries. There will be more than 150 holiday homes, lodges and park homes and over 130 touring caravans on display along with many other supplies and service stands.

The trade show is preceded by The Caravan Extravaganza where there is a fun and friendly atmosphere, where parks and dealers and accessory stalls along with bands and other entertainment are present. www.hercmatradeshows.com

LandscapeThe Landscape Show 2017

The award winning, multi-media supported industry trade show, Landscape, returns to Battersea Park for two days. The Landscape Show promotes the latest products, technologies and innovations to the very best Garden Designers, Landscape Architects, Contractors, Groundsmen, Facilities Managers and Local Authority Landscaping Professionals from across the UK and beyond.

HERCMA’s Southern Trade Show takes place at Beaulieu and is set in the grounds of the National Motor Museum in the New Forest. More manufacturers will be exhibiting their brand new models although there are no tourers at Beaulieu. Following the trade day there are three days where the public are invited to see the new seasons’ models and meet representatives from parks and dealers in the hope of purchasing their next holiday home or lodge. A whopping 87,589 visitors attended the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show at the NEC in Birmingham in February

The record-breaking success of the recent Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show reflects findings a boom in interest in caravan purchases.

The National Caravan Council (NCC) revealed that the sale and dispatch of new touring caravans, motorhomes and caravan holiday homes in the UK increased by 10.3 per cent in 2015 compared to 2014. The figures reinforce the growing British preference over the last few years to holidaying at home, with trips in Great Britain rising by seven per cent to 105 million last year, while overall spend on accommodation in the camping and caravanning sector has increased by seven per cent year on year - the largest increase across all accommodation types.

“The flexibility and freedom a leisure vehicle offers is fundamental to the growth of the industry,” commented John Lally, director general of the NCC.

“Families and people of all ages enjoy caravanning and motor-homing. “We’re also seeing increasing numbers of younger people choosing to holiday in the UK. With caravans and motorhomes equipped with all the latest technology and comforts, the industry provides the perfect solution for holidaymakers to enjoy a ‘home from home’ experience any time of the year.”

A record breaking number of visitors flocked to the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show in February, making it the most successful show in the event’s history.

A whopping 87,589 visitors attended the six-day show at the NEC in Birmingham, between in February. The Saturday was the busiest day, welcoming more than 26,050 visitors in the eight-hour window.

With over 350 exhibitors and a host of well-known personalities, the show provided the ideal platform for companies to showcase their latest products and innovations.
