Barnards Farm Gardens are 22 hectares of landscaped gardens open to the public as part of the National Gardens Scheme. One way to see the vast expanse is to travel on the miniature railway. To enhance the visitor experience and to make it weather proof, Barnards Farm Gardens commissioned Fordingbridge to design and build the two canopies which form a station and ‘waiting room’. The first canopy was designed and installed by Fordingbridge a few years ago. The client came back to Fordingbridge with the brief of a light and airy weather protected space to be used as a waiting / café area.
